Hey There!
In 2018, I heard the words no one wants to hear: "You have cancer."
My diagnosis was invasive ductal carcinoma with lymph node involvement, and suddenly I found myself facing decisions I never expected to make. After much prayer, research, and seeking God's direction, I chose a different path than many people expected. I declined chemotherapy and radiation and began pursuing healing through nutrition, herbs, lifestyle changes, and a deeper dependence on God.
Along the way, I discovered so much more than information about health. I learned about faith, perseverance, healthy habits, and the incredible encouragement that comes from people who walk beside you during difficult seasons.
Word gets around when you heal from cancer without chemo or radiation. People started asking, "What did you do?" Some asked more skeptically, "So you're doing nothing?" Over and over, I've been asked to share my story. Today, more than eight years later, people still ask, "What did you do?" That's really why this website exists.
There are many websites about healing, but I had to remind myself that my story is simply one more voice of encouragement for someone walking this difficult road. My prayer is that you’ll find practical resources, renewed hope, and confidence that God is faithful, even in life’s hardest seasons.
I'm the author of Fear Came Knocking: A Testimony of God's Providence in Healing from Cancer, where I share my full story and the lessons I learned along the way. This book is currently in the final stages of publication and will be available soon. God is our best teacher—He even teaches through cancer, and for that I am truly thankful.
I believe God is still writing my story of hope and healing. I'll keep posting on the blog to bring you along on the journey.
You can find that same hope, too.
I'm not a doctor or medical professional — I'm sharing my personal journey and what I learned along the way. Please talk with your own healthcare provider about what's right for you.
